Gardens By The Bay Ticket – How Much?

You don’t have to buy a ticket at all if you don’t want. Most of the garden is visited for free. However, if you want to get inside the main attractions, the OCBC Skyway, Flower Dome and the Cloud Forest, this is when you need a ticket.

There are ticket booths at the gate. For some, this will be the no-fuss way to get your Gardens By the Bay ticket for entry. However, if you book online before going, you can save heaps of $$.

How Much Can You Save?

Garden by the bay Ticket

We did a search online with Klook and found tickets for the cheapest price!

At the gate, adult entry is worth $20 USD but Klook sells it for only $16 USD. Kids tickets are nearly $11 at the gate or $10 online.

When travelling with a family of 6, we love saving money on admission prices. We saved nearly $15 USD on our tickets all together.

This Gardens by the Bay ticket includes direct entry (you don’t have to line up at the ticket booth queues) into the absolutely beautiful Flower Dome and Cloud Forest with the world’s tallest man-made indoor waterfall. Wander throughout the rest of the stunning gardens and enjoy the Children’s Garden, and enjoy incredible views of the city and the famous Supertree Grove.

The Cloud Forest

Open 9 am to 9 pm

Inside the Cloud Forest dome, you first come face-to-face with the world’s tallest man-made indoor waterfall which is an amazing sight to behold. It towers 30 metres above the floor and the resulting mist it creates actually feeds the rare plants within. At 10 am, 12 pm, 2 pm, 4 pm, 6 pm and 8 pm there is a massive outlet of mist which is pretty amazing to experience.

Strolling through the heady cloud forest amongst rare and delicate tropical plants is absolutely astonishing. Ascend the lift to experience the ephemeral Cloud Walk and Tree Top Walk. Learn about the way the environment is changing as you view these lush plants.

The Flower Dome

Open 9 am to 9 pm

This is the largest glass greenhouse in the world. Explore different regions and view the resplendent colours of a range of astonishingly beautiful flowers from around the world.

This place is so pretty! It is Spring all year round in the Flower Dome!

Supertree Grove

The Supertrees can be enjoyed at ground level for free. Wandering through the gardens gives you an ant’s perspective of these incredible towering tree-like structures.

But, you can actually get even closer and pay for an OCBC Skyway ticket as part of your entry. This allows you to walk amongst the canopy of this magnificent architecture and see them very close quarters.

Find direct entry plus OCBC tickets here.

When is the Best Time to Visit The Supertree Grove?

  • The best time to visit is in the late afternoon then ending with the nightly Garden Rhapsody lights and music show at Supertree Grove (7.45 pm and 8.45 pm)

Where is Gardens By The Bay Located?

See the location on Google Maps here.

If you are catching the MRT (Singapore’s excellent trains system) the nearest stop is Bayside.

How to Get to Gardens by the Bay

The MRT station Bayside is conveniently located only a couple of hundred metres walk to the Garden entrance. Just follow the signs when you get off the train.

From Changi Airport, you can reach the Gardens in an hour via MRT. A taxi or Grab from the airport will cost between $20 – $30 Singapore dollars and takes around 20 minutes. This is such a cool place to visit if you have a layover in Singapore.

We actually visited the beautiful Gardens by the Bay as a day trip from Legoland Malaysia. The Causeway Link Bus service picked us up right across the road from our hotel at Legoland, Medini Mall and took us all the way to Singapore where we had to jump on the MRT for the ride to Bayside.

Getting Around Gardens by the Bay

Hiring an e-scooter is a great way to cruise around the garden. Prices start at only $12 USD per hour.

Check out prices and book online with Klook.

The Garden Shuttle Bus is available to get you to where you want to go quickly. It is $3 per person for unlimited rides all day with tickets available on site. The bus loops around every 10 minutes.

Strollers and wheelchairs are available for hire from the main ticket booth at entry. Stroller rental costs $2 per day at Visitor Service Centre (The Canopy), Information Counter (Golden Garden) & Floral Fantasy.

Or you can simply walk around the beautifully smooth and shady pathways.

Please see the map of the Gardens here.

There is free wifi at the visitor centres, domes and children’s garden. There is an ATM inside The Canopy.

Where to Stay in Singapore

For direct access to the Gardens by the Bay, you have to stay at the incredible Marina Bay Sands. Rooms at this hotel have sweeping views of the Gardens.

Enjoy the breathtaking vistas from the world’s largest rooftop infinity pool and choose from over 20 different dining options including restaurants by Gordon Ramsay and Wolfgang Puck. There is also a casino and shopping mall in the hotel.

See more about the Marina Bay Sands here.
